Perhaps, the best cactus! A fantastic 1992 discovery, of this unique monospecific genus growing on gypsum cliffs together with Aztekium hintonii. Globular stem, glaucus light blue epidermis and creamy white flatened corky spines forming a continuous spine shield with age. Woolly apex and small pink flowers. Fresh seed, nearly 100% germination.
