Ariocarpus fissuratus
AL 744 Santiago Mountains, TX, USA
A very interesting small population occupying a single rocky limestone hill, where plants grow squeezed among rocks and boulders. Charming smallish plants with intricate variable epidermal structure. Curiously, in some plants, like the one in the photograph, it strongly resembles the papillae of A. hintonii!
Please read the germination instructions for Ariocarpus.
