AL 883 Black Gap Wildlife Management Area, TX, USA
A unique population, large markedly flattened plants growing almost level to the ground. Very dark olive green to dark brown, almost charcoal body color. Extremely rough verrucose epidermal structure with deep fissures and grooves, older tubercles acquire a distinctive silver-white waxy coating. Limited F1 seed.
