Ariocarpus trigonus cv. ‘Princesa’
F2 ex Greece
A lovely cultivar we bred and stabilized for impressive abundant flowering of bright pink flowers. Large growing plants with wispy, long, triangular tubercles tapering to a sharp upward pointing tip, alluding to ‘elongatus’ morphology. Originally selected from seedlings in a variable German stock, named as A. trigonus ‘Red Flower’, which was rather misleading, some A. confusus influence is possible. The copious flowers are a lovely translucent pink or to be more accurate, bicolored with pink upper half and creamy-white lower half of the petals. Spectacular!
Good immediate germination (~30%), if soaked in sterile water for 48 hrs before sowing.
Please read the germination instructions for Ariocarpus.
