At the western edge of the taxon’s distribution, this population displays astonishing variability considering tubercle morphology and also epidermal pigmentation. Tubercles wide or narrow, long or short, with areoles at the tip or without, sharply pointed or not, mildly or strongly keeled, some (see photo) even have a pointed keel like a mini tubercle! Floral variability is average purple, pink to white, lacking yellowish pigments. Body color from grey-green-blue to purple. F1 seed representing the morphological variability of this population.
