One of the northernmost A. retusus populations, robust plants growing on steep rocky hillsides in the vicinity of Monclova. Beautiful population with grey epidermis, triangular wide tubercles pointed at the tip, with medium sized rounded areoles. Most remarkably, fantastic flowers with bright pink outer petals! F1 seed encompasses the best colored flowers.
